In all honesty, the number of CBD products on the market is a bit overwhelming. And I don’t know about you, but it doesn’t take me long to get overwhelmed when I see a wall full of different boxes and bottles that all promise something different or better – but they’re packaged in a way that I can’t necessarily tell what’s positive from negative. It wouldn’t be so bad if there was at least some information out there for people who are new to CBD and unsure where to start. So since we have already done an article on THC products, it only makes sense to cover the other side of the spectrum with cannabidiol (CBD) products.
No product type has evolved more in the last year than CBD vape oils. You can get them in all kinds of flavors, and the popularity of vaping has caught on quickly with people looking for an easy, subtle way to consume CBD products- especially if they don’t like the taste of oil underneath their tongue.
Vaping is by far the most efficient method for delivering CBD to your body. Unlike smoking joint or consuming cannabis-infused edibles, you aren’t going to have to sit there forever while everything is processed through your digestive system. With vaping, around 40% of CBD enters your bloodstream via absorption in your lungs with each puff. That’s comparable with smoking THC products which result in around 35% being absorbed per puff. The difference with CBD product sis that it doesn’t hit you as fast, and it doesn’t produce psychoactive effects which can help to make vaping a better option for some.
The main benefit of vaping CBD is that it works almost instantly unlike THC products which can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours before you start feeling the full effects. And unlike smoked cannabis, there’s no smoke involved – so it can be consumed in public places more easily without people making a big deal out of what you’re doing. But more importantly, smoking or vaping anything gives your lungs a break from being assaulted on a daily basis by all kinds of horrible things floating around in the air, especially if you live in a city like I do where pollution is an absolute nightmare.
